Hi there.

I followed the OP from here and it worked. I was able to map Ctrl+H to Delete.
However, i cannot find a way to reverse this.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Hammerspoon, i also removed the Accessibility permission, many reboots and the Ctrl+H still triggers a delete.

After a reinstall of Hammerspoon, i ran the example from the link pasted above, but this time changed it to simulate a Space key instead of Delete. This worked, but after uninstalling Hammerspoon it went straight back to Ctrl+H=Delete.

Any ideas ?

Hey

Presumably you pasted that config into your ~/.hammerspoon/init.lua file? If you want to remove the remaps, you would remove it from that file.

Cheers,

Hey,

Thanks for the answer.
You are correct, i pasted that into init.lua. However that file no longer exists on my disk.
So not sure where it's getting the key mapping from.

Cheers

Solved by djh-iii here:

It seems that by default MacOS has Ctrl+H as delete

Thanks for the help !
