Hey Folks,

I created a new spoon for my own use (and to share with a few others at my company), but it is likely useful for others.

SmartLink is a Spoon that builds a formatted link from the active tab in Google Chrome and pastes it into the frontmost application.  The key is that it automatically detects the target application and builds a well-formatted link from the title and url specific to that application.

I use it extensively to share links via Cisco Webex (markdown format), Outlook (html format) and Emacs OrgMode.  It grabs the title / url from the most active tab and formats it accordingly, pasting it at the cursor in the target window.

I don't yet have this in any git repo.  I see docs on how to contribute to Hammerspoon itself, and how to download spoons, but not finding anything about how to share spoons so they get listed on the master page.  What's the process there?

Thanks
-- Chris

+1 to this question. I have a few Spoons I've written and that are already on GitHub that I would welcome sharing more broadly if there is a way to do so.

Best,

Von
