Worried that there might be lead or other toxic metals in your garden soil?

Get the dirt before you dig, from Jim Yannarelly, a St Paul-Ramsey County health department expert who has done extensive soil testing in Frogtown. We'll hear about what the real (and not-so-real) dangers of soil contaminants might be, and learn how to test our soil.

Jim's half-hour presentation will be followed by a fun planning meeting. We've got plans for Arbor Day, May Day, the Frogtown Garden Tour and more.

As always, the meeting is open to anyone interested, and we'll have some tasty snacks. This month we're back at Rondo Community Outreach Library's Children's Meeting Room. The action starts at 7 PM and ends promptly at 8:30.

Hope to see you there.

Patricia
