West Midway Area Industrial Strategy Open House June 25, 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Goodwill/Easter Seals building, 553 North Fairview Ave. As residents, business owners and members of the Hamline Midway community, your opinions on development, infrastructure and the future of this area are indispensable. Please attend one of the upcoming open houses hosted by the West Midway Area Industrial Study Task Force to gather feedback on their recently released development strategy to improve industrial development in the West Midway industrial area. The strategy calls for a Business Collaboration to help stabilize and grow existing businesses while attracting new investments. Additionally, it calls for the City to improve its permitting and regulations, intensify industrial business outreach, and improve streets for optimum truck access from the freeway system. The strategy also includes recommendations for land assembly, urban design of new industrial development, and improved pedestrian access to the new Green Line LRT. Find full copies of the strategy and other opportunities to provide input on this important initiative at the Hamline Midway Coalition website or visit www.stpaul.gov/westmidway.
