HMC Looking for Representatives for Snelling BRT Community Advisory Committee
HMC has been asked to nominate two representatives for the Snelling Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC will meet quarterly beginning in May to advise on project decisions and raise community issues related to the project. If you are a transit user and would be interested in serving on this body, please e-mail Michael Jon Olson by April 5.
Join the Midway Local Food Resource Hub
Get $45 worth of seeds and seedlings for as little as $10! Become a member of the Midway Local Food Resource Hub by filling out the application here. The Midway Hub is a community-based network of residents, organizations, and businesses in the northwest portion of St. Paul that support each other to grow, cook, preserve, and compost their own fresh produce.
Recycle it Forward
The City of Saint Paul invites you to shape the future of waste management in St. Paul. Recycle it Forward, a community-based waste management assessment project, is your opportunity to give input and share your ideas relating to waste management programs and services (e.g. recycling, composting, bulky items, and trash services). For more information, to follow the process, or to share your ideas, visit the Recycle it Forward website.
HMC Waste Management Task Force
Over the next few months, Hamline Midway Coalition will develop a set of recommendations on the future of waste management in the City of Saint Paul as part of the Recycle it Forward assessment project (see above). HMC is seeking individuals interested in discussing the future of waste management in some detail and formulating a set of recommendations for consideration by the HMC Board of Directors. This will entail 2 to 3 meetings, most likely on weekday evenings. If you are interested, please e-mail Michael Jon Olson at HMC no later than April 5.
HMC Board of Directors Elections – June 1
