No worries! Glad I could help. We also have our weekly FNF or Friday Night Flight coming today. There is a flight then with AviatorDan. Along with other routes into the featured airport/s for the FNF.

I just had my 2nd crash in a row. And its always while on approach. Its really frustrating that I pay for a subscription and I cant even manage to finish a flight. Sorry if it might sound like im being petty or whatever but I yet havent had a flight after the update where the app did not crash. Do you know when can we expect this next hot fix because I really want my flights I take time to do to be completed instead of the app crashing 5 minutes before arrival. Thanks
Yeah for me too approaching Bali yesterday leveled off at 3,500 ft and I saw on the map another guy taking off . I clicked to see his fpl cuz I was curious and at the same time he sent a ATC message . At that point I heard a weird sound ( like a buzzing ) and the screen just froze and IF crashed . Last time this happened to me was a year ago and since then I always put my graphics to low and medium , aircraft count to none , anti aliasing off and always uninstall and reinstall the sim and restart my phone ( iPhone 8) before each flight . I hope the hot fix comes soon but thanks for the hard work @schyllberg
THe XP system is incredibly useful for status on your progress to the best of the best pilots in IF. This includes Landings, Total Violations ( in 1 day and 7 days.) plus ghosting. You can lose your grade, which has happened to me).? As well as flight hours!
To gain a lot of xp, I usually take off on a small runway in a Cessna or cirrus, do a really sharp bank ( or turn) once I pass the end of the opposite runway, then line up with the runway and do a good landing. Keep doing that and you will gain xp pretty quickly. And to get the most xp, try to land on the 2 big white rectangles.
Well that seems like the problem is solved. Also when I fly thorough different regions, the speed limit change and i got overspeed without knowing it even thought I did not get any violations because I found out quick enough.
I can guarantee you there are not different limits by location. For example, your limit at 34,000 feet will he different than 36,000 feet. Encountering turbulence can cause your speed to go over the limit if your autopilot is set so close to the limit.
To clear the cache, go into settings > general and then scroll to the bottom and there should be an option to clear cache. But definitely delete some replay files, they can take up a lot of space especially for long haul flights. I think an auto delete after 30 days feature would be good (with the option to select ones to keep longer).
I got disconnected from the live server unknowingly, especially on long hauls. The app did not attempt to reconnect to the liver server. Did not switch to any other apps and was on the IF app throughout the flight. Wifi was also connected with no other abnormalities.
Had this issue happen to me once recently as well, after the update. I had plenty of battery left and didnt leave the app. I checked and the wifi was fine and it was just the live button that was red.
I have the same issue, on the ground at KLAX prepping for a flight. Call came in and I answered. Went back into IF and my device never connected back to the server, neither on data nor wifi. Had to end the flight and reload to connect back
Casual Server- This is where a lot of craziness can happen as a lot on new pro subscribers are trying out all the different aircraft and the rules of of IF( 250kts below FL100, max ground speed 35kts, etc). I remember being the one that would be professional when Emirates A380s and KLM 787 would run right through you. Then f22 raptors flyby every 7 seconds. However this is where I would almost never complete a flight as I took off, got bored and had almost no landings.
Im flying 24/7 on expert server. Since I always look for absolute realism and professionalism this is the closest I can get to it. Also qualified ATC is fun to interact with, and I meet mostly all my friends flying there as well.
i did another flight this morning on a C208 with only GND PWR connected, and i pushed back just fine.
my theory is that whenever you connect the pax, catering, and cargo items, there some sort of glitch that prevents you from pushing back from the gate even after doing everything to pushback.
However, Just disconnected all the GSE before Attaching Tug for pushback. I could have switched on the Beacon lights before all items were completely off screen (meaning the cargo and Catering truck). I get the same error to disconnect all Ground services before push message.
From my point 2. I disengaged all Ground services at the same time. However, from what i remember happening. I engaged the tug and turn on beacon light before the cargo loader and catering truck disappeared. Then when I started pushing with brakes already off. It told me unable to pushback and disconnect all ground services. After that, I tried to reengage all ground services after turning off my beacon. However, only the gate and ground power appeared. The catering truck and cargo loader did not appear anymore although the button for them is pressed and lighted up.
Tried a few more times but none of it works. All this time, the cargo loader and catering truck did not reload when I engage the ground services again. Beacon lights was turned on and Parking brakes were already turned off when I pressed pushback. So the beacon light and brakes was not the problem I encountered.

Something you can do is keep your angle of attack (aoa) between 1-5. As soon as you are 15 feet AGL, gently pull on the yolk to an aoa of 15. This only works with low speed as then it causes you to glide in.
Just remember AOA and pitch are 2 different things. The difference between pitch and the flight path vector can be called your AOA and can fluctuate with a constant pitch based on airspeed and configuration.
the weight and balance tells you that you have more than enough fuel for 13 hours, go to flightplanner submit your flight and aircraft, its will give you a bit more accurate number, however lets say flightplanner suggests 90k KG worth of fuel is enough i will take 100k KG while the weight and balance in IF suggested 80k was enough!
This graph is precisely why you ran out of fuel flying at 0.90 M. The drag significantly increases after 0.86 M, and you ran out of fuel as Simbrief and other sites assume you to be flying at 0.85 M (max cruising speed).
i paid to infinite flight for pro version but there are no atc on the airports other than london hethrow. there should be atc on every airport. other wise i feel boring while flying. please let me know your opinion what do you think about it.
The Training and Expert Servers both use manually staffed ATC services, which are formed of Pro Subscribers that voluntarily control on each server. You are able to freely control on the Training Server, and can learn on how join the IFATC Team below, and contribute to the number of controllers and ATC staffed airports in Infinite Flight! :)
Sometimes the demand of a long haul flight on a device can cause a memory issue or potentially the device could overheat and it will end up crashing. To avoid this you can try restarting the device frequently, and use the low power modes available on the device and in the app.
Yeah I have the iPhone 13 which is the latest one with the 13 pro and pro max and my IF crashed yesterday just after landing. Pretty weird for a brand new iPhone capable of max graphics and very high airplane count to be crashing just after landing. It also happened a few days ago
When was the last time the ones who are having issues restarted their devices?
All devices have a limited amount of system resources, RAM. The longer the device is running, the smaller it becomes over time unless you restart.
Just to give an update on the issue. I have seen different topics on the app crashes with speculations on what the cause may be. I have just read a topic about storage and airplane counts etc. with everyone trying to get the app crash issue resolved.
I did an overnighter from LTFM-SBGR on the A350 Turkish Livery. After being cleared to land with about 3nm my app crashed. I was so sure this time around that there will not be an issue. I even counted the number of aircrafts on the ground, 2 at parking bays 1 on the runway taking off. In the air about 4 on approach with 1 landing.
This is kinda urgent. I am currently flying an Emirates 77W from Dubai to Denver. I have just come back from working and I have discovered that my parents have cut the power for a while to install a pendant in my room. Anyways, it has taken long enough that my battery has been worn down to below 5%, triggering a pop-up system notification, but the power was switched back on just in time, but the whole simulator was paused and connection to the live servers lost. I have just come home to discover this and do not know how long it has been like this. As I have NOT expected, the connection to the expert server has not fixed itself. Does anyone know how to fix this without leaving the app and subsequently ruining the flight?
Hello Team, kindly request you to add [Infinite Flight]( ) to your list of supported simulators, as it will be very useful.
Foreflight and Garmin Pilot as already integrated it to their sim connect feature.
