I've moved the listings of text editor support for Haml and Sass from their old position on the Haml Google group to the Haml and Sass websites. They're now up at http://haml-lang.com/editors.html and http://sass-lang.com/editors.html.

As always, if you know of support for any editors that aren't on that list, please let the mailing list know and they'll be added.

The Eclipse plugins that I did have been taken over by Aptana/Radrails. I haven't tried to use them for a while, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a hell of a fight to get them working in Eclipse these days, so might be worth removing them. Unless anybody can confirm whether they still work at all?

I saw that, but I also read some stuff about people wanting to use Eclipse without RadRails, so I thought I'd keep them up. I'd also like to hear if they still work.

Fair enough.  There's a bit of a disclaimer on the link anyway, so hopefully people will now what they are getting themselves into :-)

I might try and get that source up onto github. I think the main dependency was RDT for ruby highlighting. Might be worth making a "lite" version that just colours the tags and stuff.

Hey Nathan,

As a companion to Textmate on OS X there's also E Text Editor on
Windows (and Linux). Not sure if this should have it's own line or
appear as Textmate / E Text Editor. Either way, Seaofcloud's bundle
now hasn't been updated in over a year and the link should probably
point to aussiegeek's bundle[1] instead.

However, he's looking for a new maintainer for the bundle.

I've done a bit of work over the weekend merging in various forks to
bring things mostly up-to-date and to make the bundle Windows
compatible (there were some filenames in there that are incompatible
with the Windows filesystem), so my fork[2] is currently the most
complete, but I should not be considered the official maintainer.

If anyone does want to become official maintainer - let aussiegeek know!

:-( Why not?

Simply, I don't have access to a Mac or Textmate so it's difficult for
me to test changes on the 'mother platform'. I doubt there *would* be
any problems, but without being able to test changes, I wouldn't feel
happy releasing 'officially'.

Still, I'll try to maintain an unofficial fork. :)

Well, that's a pretty good reason. ;-)

I've added a link to Charles Roper's repo listing Aussiegeek as the creator, since I think it's still mostly his work. Let me know if something happens and anything should be changed/updated.

Hey Nathan, I no longer maintain the jedit haml plugin, as I switched
to Emacs some time ago, so I have no idea if it still works with the
recent Jedit updates. Just FYI :)

Thanks

All right, I've added a note to the page to that effect.
