Hi,
First off, I am very glad to find haml and Sass yesterday. I was
saying and thinking the words "CSS and HTML for developers" and found
this like a boon!

Coming to my concern, I tried to install compass+haml using the rails
installer
using the command - rails <myrailsappnamehere> -m http://compass-style.org/rails/installer
as instructed in github wiki -http://wiki.github.com/chriseppstein/
compass/ruby-on-rails-integration

Being excited about clever programming of installing compass, haml and
intergration to rails, I only cared about the last statement of
success but only later realized that some rake tasks were aborted.
The full trace is here - http://gist.github.com/282479
Compass was not even installed.

Am I the only one facing this problem? Could it because I am Rails 3
and/or Ruby 1.9

Thanks,
Satyajit

I have no reports of the compass installer working with rails 3 -- nor do I have reports of it failing until now.

But it's pretty easy to install by hand. Just follow the instructions here:

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I was able to install compass pretty easily.
