Learning what flledgngs look like

Hello everybody!

We have been at our place over 25 years. We have been feeding birds just off our kitchen, for the same length of time.

As such, we often see fledgeling birds. Most field guides do not include them.  

These photos are of a fledgeling red bellied woodpecker. Only once, about 15 years ago, we had a fledgeling red headed woodpecker.

I know how to spell. But Siri is an idiot.
