26 Tundra Swans on Tuesday, March 10 at 10:30 am

Eyes to the sky! Just had 20 Tundra Swans fly over our house in the Kirkendall neighbourhood.

They've been flying over Dundas in large numbers since Sunday. We went to the High Level bridge this morning before sunrise to see how many spent the night in Cootes and they were all over the west end (1600+). Amazing to watch big groups of them take flight and head west. Not sure if they were in the Harbour as well as there's still lots of slush on the water surface there, at least towards the west end. If there were any, they didn't fly over Burlington Heights. We're so fortunate to have this spectacle in our community each year!
