Hello Friends,

Happy February - I hope you'll get a chance to enjoy the beautiful sunshine today!

There are a number of new members to the group, so I wanted to send out this reminder about the First of the Month Open Forum today. 

This is an opportunity to share birding related emails beyond the usual bird sightings, including: 

1. Advertisements to sell or give away birding related material - scopes, tripods, cameras, books, etc.

2. Photographs from trips outside the HSA. (Please stick to rare birds! No robins, red-tails, etc.)

3. Ask questions about birding and birding related issues that you're curious about.

4. Announce events and activities that may be of interest to participants.

5. Generally share other material more generally related to birding and conservation that are not normally part of this list's mandate.

Here are the boundaries:

1. You may post on the first of the month. 

2. Discussion on these posts may continue into the second of the month, but please don't start any new discussions.
