When I lived in Cairo, I joined the African Bird Club and continued membership even after I returned. One benefit was that I received the quarterly bulletins of the ABC. I have issues from 2000 to 2023 (presumably 96 issues).
The main feature is research articles that are peer-reviewed. There are also shorter notes; for example, I wrote one about the first evidence of Long-eared Owls breeding in Egypt and this was also peer-reviewed. There is a section on club news and results of projects funded by the club. This is followed by summaries of reports germane to Africa that have appeared elsewhere. There are book reviews and obituaries of notable ornithologists. There are also splendid photos.
I hope to find a good home for the bulletins at no charge to the recipient.
Please contact me if you wish to be a custodian of some fascinating bulletins.
