Take the Final Survey + Join an Open House

Happy September, Park People!

We’re excited to announce the launch of the third and final phase of community engagement for the Travis County Parks Comprehensive Plan. This plan is led by the Travis County Parks Department, with support from Travis County Parks Foundation, and will guide how we protect, enhance, and expand more than 13,000 acres of parkland for the next decade.

Your voice is essential! Your input is needed to ensure the parks plan reflects the needs and desires of our diverse community.

Check out the project website and scroll down to learn how to share your input during this final phase of community engagement.

TWO WAYS TO SHARE YOUR INPUT

ONLINE: Take the Survey

Open 9/18 to 10/23

Share your feedback on our Parks Comprehensive Plan draft recommendations, shaped by community input earlier this year. In this activity, you'll rank recommendations and add your comments.

IN PERSON: Attend an Open House

Saturday, October 11 or Saturday, October 18

Join us at a park near you to explore the draft recommendations, connect with the planning team, enjoy snacks, and win prizes! Let us know you're coming by registering for an open house.

LOVE PACE BEND PARK IN PARTICULAR?

Provide Feedback on the Draft Design Concepts

Alongside the countywide plan, the Travis County Parks Department is developing a Vision Plan for Pace Bend Park. This is your chance to weigh in on the draft design concepts for one of our most iconic parks.

WHY YOUR INPUT MATTERS

Travis County is rich in ecological and social diversity — and growing rapidly. From the scenic Pace Bend Park to the vibrant Richard Moya Park, your feedback will help guide how the Travis County Parks Department:

·     Protects natural resources

·     Expands recreation opportunities

·     Invests in future generations

The final plan will be adopted by the Travis County Commissioners Court in early 2026 and your voice will shape its direction.
