winter bird visits.

Good morning folks,

Has anyone else noticed the lack of bird visits to the feeders this winter here in Hamilton?

Any explanation?

I'm thinking that the mild winter has created conditions where the birds do not need to visit feeders because there is enough natural food for them to eat.  I've noticed that our feeder visits have been somewhat lackluster this winter until there is adverse weather and then there is a feeding frenzy.

Did you notice more bird activity today when we had that snowfall in the afternoon?
