Skippers,
Please find attached the draw for Saturday. As most captains preferred at least 2 games for a team, Unfortunately that left very little lee-way for the time slots you requested.( if any ).
I have scheduled CT based teams earlier in the morning & out-of-state/ FarAway based teams in the later half of the morning.
5 over Round-Robin games, right up to the semi-finals.
Finals will be 7 over affair.
Here is what it has come to ( see attached ). Let me know if you forsee any technical ( Not scheduling ) issues with it.
Rules will be sent out tonight.
Snacks, food, water & drinks will be provided to all participants at this tournament.
Thanks,
NIkhil

Gentlemen,
Would like to keep the format a bit open at this time. I have received time preferences from at least 6 teams to have their games after 10am & as you know thats not possible if i were to keep this as a round-robin format. So heres the option :
If we play all 8-9 teams in round robin format (RR), there will be at least 9 round-robin games ; That also means we have to begin as early as 7.30 am (FYI. Sunset is around 7pm & it gets dark around 6.30 - 6.45 pm. ) and we probably Cannot honour every team's preference on the time scheduling of their game.
If captains are ok with Knock-out formats (KO), then we can start a little later i.e. at around 8.45 - 9 am & we can play a lot less games & finish within a reasonable time and at a reasonable time.
Please let me know your format choices as soon as possible.( RR or KO ) We will go with the majority.
Thanks,
Nikhil.
