handing over hamcrest java

So, I've been making a feeble attempt to catch up while I had a little downtime and it's not going to be enough.

I'm wondering if we should offer it to the mockito team? I'm not a huge fan of the design choices in mockito, but they have the people and presence, so there's a certain logic to it.

Thoughts?

I'm happy to try and step up and help out.
I think it should be separate from Mockito, otherwise people might
think it's just something that can be used as part of mockito.
