IRLP, "ARRL News", and "Newsline" are back online on the Noblesville repeater.

ARRL News and Newsline are both back online.
So now, Net Control of the Sunday evening net can pick either one to run.

IRLP is also back online.
This feature enables any ham radio to connect to other repeaters around the world.
It is analog, not digital, so you don't need a digital radio and any brand of radio will work..

IRLP is simple to operate.
1. You simply key your mic and enter the four digit code for the repeater you wish to connect to. Then let up on the mic.
Just remember to ID before you enter the four digit code and ID just before you unlink the connection.

2. When you are connected, the remote repeater will ID back to you.

3. Before you start talking, listen for a bit to make sure the remote repeater does not already have a conversation going.

4. Each time you key the mic, wait about three seconds before you start to talk because there is a delay due to the various connections from our repeater
to the repeater you are linked to.

5. What do you say when you are connected?  Some people call CQ, but most just say, "This is [call sign] from Indiana looking for someone to talk with."

6. When you are done talking, and wish to unlink the repeaters, simply key your mic, give your ID, and say you are disconnecting the repeaters
Dial 73, then let up on the mic.

Thank you to Mike, W9MSK, for getting these services back online!
