IRLP Offline

The Noblesville repeater IRLP is temporarily offline while Hamilton Co. IT department does service on the network.  

Please do not try to connect on IRLP.  If you do, 

you will actually connect to the remote repeater, but you won’t know it as you won’t hear anything.  This is because the network can send outbound, but can’t hear anything inbound.  But you will be tying up the remote repeater.  

If you hear someone attempting to make a connection, please advise them of the situation and ask them to send the disconnect command 73 to ensure the remote repeater has been disconnected. Again, you won’t hear any confirmation, but it does disconnect.  

This issue is also why we are not hearing Newsline. 

We hope the network will be back up this coming week.
