"The Barn" tour postponed until next spring

"The Barn" tour is being postponed until next spring.  

I wasn't getting nearly as many interested parties in the tour as anticipated.  It turns out that the Good Samaritan food delivery is on Nov. 22 and many that would like to go to The Barn will be tied up on that mission.  

November is already pretty filled with ham meetings and the Fort Wayne hamfest.   The fourth Sat.  is Thanksgiving weekend and lots of people will be on their way back from visiting relatives.  December is not looking any better as we have our meetings, then the Christmas food deliveries,  and then it starts getting into the Christmas season.  So, we are postponing until next spring.  

Thank you to those that did sign up.  We try it again when the weather starts getting warm next spring.  Meanwhile, go to QRZ.com and enter callsign

W9VW.  Then click on the video and you will get a short tour of The Barn.  But, you really do need to see it in person next spring.  

P.S.  If you have ever thought about running your station remotely through the internet, read up on that then come to the tour in the spring and ask questions.  I am sure you will get some good tips as the The Barn is totally controllable via the internet.  They can turn equipment on and off, control the radios, rotate antennas, switch antennas, etc. etc.   You can also get some good grounding tips.
