Hi Meshtastic and Meshcore users,
Just FYI.
I swapped my solar unit from Meshtastic to Meshcore today to try it out.
Trying to learn more about it so I decided to see how it works.
If you're on Meshcore let me know if you can reach me.
I think this is around 30 ft (?) high.

Awesome, thanks for letting us know!  Did you program it as a “companion” or “repeater”?

One of the downsides with MeshCore is there are specialized node firmware for each use case. Repeaters only repeat to other repeaters. Companions don’t repeat at all- they rely on repeaters or a direct connection. 

I have a repeater in my second story window that barely covers the Mill Grove (191/Little Chicago) area. Joe ??? has a repeater in a tree approximately 146 and Allisonville- it is covering large area on south side of Noblesville. 

I’m going for a quick drive :)
