Foxhunt on Sunday!

Sept. 5th @ 2 PM. Simon Moon Park, Westfield

Countywide car-based hunt starting at top of the hill in the park. New hunters welcome. Looking forward to seeing some of our experienced OG hunters too! Weather forecast looks great! Hunts usually take 1-2 hours. Park your car in the municipal lot to the west of park (to leave limited spots for other park users). Use the Hortonville UHF repearter for talk-in, chat and questions during the hunt. (Let us know if you are running late!) PS: You can also detune 5-10 kHz (0.005-0.01 Mhz) off frequency to add some attenuation without an attenuator. Tuning to the 3rd harmonic as your frequency is equivalent to around 40 dB of attenuation, and is useful when getting pretty close to the fox.
