Being a researcher I always worked on micro and nano level and this
great work is beyond my level. In spite of I have tried to give some
inputs may be it will be beneficial for our emerging society.

1. Name of the organization

2. Name of school

Indian Public School (IPS)
Indian Village School
Indian Academy of Children
3. Area of operation/ state/district

Hamari Sochh… members are from entire globe and we should start from
any part of India. We should start this school at pilot scale. There
are certain conditions in my mind.
A. The area of operation should have rich with at least five active
member of this group because this requires constant supervision. It’s
a big challenge.
B. If any 5 person taking responsibility to initialize this good work
committee should approve it that area.
C. Ultimately we have to shift from that place in long run. So at this
moment place does not matter. But our start is very important.
D. From my point of view we need at least 15-20 bigha land together to
make our dream fulfill.

4. Objectives

To establish chains of very good schools in different rural areas for
poor children and provide them quality education

5. Education/socioeconomic

From primary education of low socioeconomic status children (Boys and
girls) till their final destination. Idea is not to make him/her
educated handicapped. We should try to keep tracking unless they will
not getting admission in professional courses.


6. Minority only/ some representation from the majority group -non
Muslim/100% marginalized or some proportion:

I think some representation from the majority group -non Muslim should
be included. It will widen our spectrum and it will be fruitful for
our society also. But we have to be very careful about dealing of
funds because we are collecting Zakat fund also.

7. Primary/secondary/senior secondary

Primary education at this stage.

8. Fee structure: completely free for marginalized or some part of
expenses charged:

Not completely free. If the candidate is really not in status of
paying fee still we should charge some fee and return them back in
some other form. The whole idea is not to feel them free otherwise
people will not take it seriously.

9. Provision of scholarship

Yes. To make the aura competitive within the students.

10. Sports infrastructure/facility

This is very important part of our spectrum to focus. Every sport
complex should have standard size. At early stage we can start indoor
games (because lack of space). I can suggest some games like Table
tennis and Carrom etc. Sports build up winning attitude in
personality.

11. Aim of providing educational services

To transform the poor Muslim families by educating their children in
India.

12. Should we facilitate students to pass admission test in navodya
and sainik school/ good schools maintained on government exchequer:

Initially yes. But our aim/dream is to build up the entire set up in
our school. Once it will be completed I think there is no need to go
anywhere till 10+2. But we should keep it free to go anywhere if
student is capable. She/he is entirely free. We should be happy if our
students will qualify in some other good schools. We should manage
some scholarship for them if needed.

13. Boarding/day scholar:

At this primitive stage, day scholar is good. But once we will
establish infrastructure for boarding. Boarding must be our priority
otherwise our students cannot compete with the others.

14. Preparing for medical/engineering test:

Yes.

15. Number of post/office bearer/executive committee/ post bearer ex-
office member of executive board/their functions:

I don’t have very much idea about it. At this point, appoint as
minimum as possible and better to discuss with Dr. Faiz Abdullah and
Dr. Shadab I believe they will give good inputs regarding this issue.
Kindly let us know how many minimum post is required initially to get
registered the society.

16. School management committee/their role:

I don’t have any idea about this matter. Again I will suggest the name
of Dr. Shadab, Dr. Fazlu-Rehman and Dr. Faiz Abdullah to develop
committee. Still our HAMARI SOCHH… group is not full fledge developed
yet otherwise I could have vote for the post.
One thing I will suggest whosoever will be in the committee he/she
should be reachable whenever is needed. Because it is very easy to
deliver good dialogues on the paper. But real situation appears to be
different.

17. Continuation of membership:

If someone is really doing very well and emotionally attached with the
school/society. He/she should have provision to continue. But his/her
performance should be evaluated annually and individually.

18. Member/post holder if working against the interest of group:

The committee should ask once to show cause and intention behind this
act, if still he/she is not making clear and trying to distort the
issue. Kindly remove/terminate them as early as possible in very short
notice irrespective of friendship and brotherhood. We don’t have time
to bear anyone. I am sorry for harsh comment.

19. Removal procedure of member/office bearer:

A piece of paper is required to issue termination letter, its easiest
procedure to remove.

20. Provision of granting membership/membership fee/donation:

Yes. I am strongly in favor of membership fee.
Category:
Working NRIs = 15,000 Rs
Working Indian = 5000 Rs
Students (With fellowship) = 1000 Rs
Student (without fellowship) = 100 Rs (a movie ticket)
I think everyone can afford, if they have really enthusiasm to be part
of that. We can go up also but not below.

21. Type of persons- membership to be granted:

Educated, not aggressive, having sophisticated approach.

22. Category of members- life time/yearly basis:

We should provide both kind of provision/category. No one should feel
bonded.
Every (both Indian and NRIs) member should feel responsible to visit
the site at least once in a year according to their convenient.

23. Qualification for membership:

Minimum qualification should be graduation.

24. Meetings of executive body/general body/trustee/quorum/ notice for
meeting:

Reachable person can organize the meeting according to their
convenient. If anyone who is not there but still interested to listen
or participate he/she can see online video conferencing if possible.

25. Rights and jurisdiction of general body/ executive body/ trustee:

I don’t have idea about it. In spite of I am willing to give some
inputs that may be more American, but I like it. If we really want to
work together we have to dissolve our personal identity, ego etc. We
should keep in mind we are nothing but together for establishment of
this institution. No one is special for us. Even among us also no one
should expect special respect/regard from anyone. Believe in
equality.

26. How to manage zaqat fund and other donations:

This is very important part of discussion. I am thinking our major
contribution will be Zakat fund. Its bit more complicated issue.
Later, I will comment on this issue. But one thing I will suggest we
should keep donation and Zakat money separately.

27. Accommodation for teachers: ?????

If we really want to make the quality school we should think about
accommodation for teachers also.

Askm shabir. Your nano approach to the problem has mega and giga level
ramifications. Your efforts are appreciable. Your suggestions are
good. I want it to bring to the next crossing.

Pathways to education I liked. If you permit me I would modify it
little. Pathways to liberation through education

2. name of school
Indian public school is good, Indian village school is also
considerable

3. your suggestion for area of operation and point of beginning is
quite logical. But I think besides this criterion we should take some
other criteria such as place having
• Significant muslim pop
• Little ‘well to do’ muslims at least in the beginig. We need to
utilize local resources too.
• Place is defiant in schools or good school, etc.
• As for as land is concerned, we in the beginning can not go for it.
It is a heavy investment. I think we should begin with a leased in
building for some year in any district. For running the school I think
the cost go up around 6-8 lakhs besides major investment in school
infrastructure.

4. shabir the group you are targeting is not to be adopted fully. We
have many constrains. We should always keep it in our mind. The
getting subsistence for the marginalized is the primary goal of the
life. If we adopt them then we need to adopt their families too. So
their chances to continuing for minimum 15 yrs in a educational
institution seems bleak. At the most what we could do we can take
certain proportion as agreed by our executive committee in consonance
with our budget. But the real problem starts here, can we spend zakat
money on infrastructure.
The professor with whom I met suggested that you keep two accounts
separately. We told that zakat money could be used for infrastructure
but alarmed us to be tune with its obligation. He also suggested that
economically backward people could be sponsored by rich people of the
locality without divulging the name of student. Even student would not
know. For example, a person x sponsors ten students. Even the
classmates would not come to know.
1. we should start with primary school and gradually move toward
secondary and I senior secondary
2. I liked your suggestion on fee structure and scholarship
3. in the beginning we I also think should promote indoor games,
looking at our resources
category of membership here I mean by it, one who represent trust/
society, another, it should have provision of executive committee-the
highest decision making body; school management committee, teachers-
parents-management committee.
The persons who are representing the trust/society would be ex-
offficio member of the executive committee. Executive committee’s
member need no to be present physically always. A quorum could be
achieved by ensuring the members online/video conferencing if
possible, etc.

4. but I have a request, the executive committee members should be
like minded as much as feasible.

to facilitate a better familiarity with each other.
I once again request you all to dedicate some time from your busy
schedule on the issue, ponder upon it and put-forth your ideas/
suggestion. Your shoulder is necessary to carry forward the
organization.
