Changes to HaltonSpaces

Guys

Hope all's well and you have had busy diving seasons. I have a short
spell off before my last week and then that will be me for the year.
It has been a busy one having started in Oban before moving down to
the Clyde, then Northern Ireland, a couple of weeks off the North
Coast of Scotland, then Shetland and a run out to the season in Scapa.

Changes to HaltonSpaces

Google are changing the way their Googlegroups are to operate. All the
info that had been static and posted in either the "files" or "pages"
sections is to move to a googlesites page and the groups stuff paired
down to the discussion/posting/email type functionality that was
always at it's core. I guess this maintains the relevance and
importance of what the groups are meant to do and that is to manage a
mailing list.

I will maintain the mailing list as before so you will still be free
to subscribe, unsubscribe and receive updates, news etc. I think this
side of things worked quite well and allowed me to fill a number of
weeks at short notice and to keep you guys up to date.

including the diary page with my online listing of up to date spaces.
I will maintain this side of things as before albeit in a different
location. All the previous content will erode over time as Google
update things at their end. I have just updated it five minutes ago so
it is hot off the press.

Hopefully the change will be straight forward, transparent and easy to
cope with but if there are any teething troubles, please let me know.

Likewise, please get in touch if you fancy a dive, or if anything in
the diary catches your eye.

Hopefully some of you will be aboard the boat again soon.
