I've had to take a little break from dev after the sprints last month. It is still a pretty high priority for me because I need it for an upcoming project so I do expect to tie up some loose ends soon. I can't give an ETA on that but I'm guessing sometime in the next few weeks.
I haven't been terribly happy with Google Groups and they are making some changes at the beginning of 2011 that make it even less appealing. I've been working on finding some other systems to host some aspects of my projects (groups or forums, tickets, etc.) and have landed on Redmine. Redmine does not have mailing list support so I think I'll leave the Google Groups open but put less emphasis on them.
I'm going to start by hosting my projects all under one Redmine instance so that it will hopefully be more useful to developers and users who use a combination of these technologies (including the dd-* packages). I am not ready to actually make the switch just yet, but if you want to take a look head to
http://redmine.dflydev.com/ to get a taste of things to come.
