There have been a number of soundtracks released from RWBY comprising of a range of singles and albums. Most of these have been soundtracks released in the months following the release of each volume to accompany it.
The soundtracks for the first 8 volumes were composed by Jeff Williams, with songs written for the show spanning a variety of genres. The songs are written and recorded by Jeff Williams and feature vocals from Jeff Williams' daughter, Casey Lee Williams, with other vocalists including Sandy Lee Casey and rapper Lamar Hall.
The RWBY: Volume 1 Soundtrack is the first soundtrack album released for RWBY. It was released by Jeff Williams on November 12th, 2013, hitting the top of iTunes and beating out the movie soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.[1]
The RWBY: Volume 2 Soundtrack is the second soundtrack album released for RWBY. It was released by Jeff Williams on December 2nd, 2014. The Japanese edition of the soundtrack was released on September 26th, 2016.[2]
The RWBY: Volume 3 Soundtrack is the soundtrack album for RWBY Volume 3. There are 30 tracks in the album, for a total run length of 2 hours and 22 minutes. It was released on iTunes on May 3rd, 2016. Shortly after its release, it reached #1 on the iTunes digital charts.[3]
The RWBY: Volume 4 Soundtrack is the soundtrack album for RWBY Volume 4. There are 46 tracks in the album.[4] It was released on June 16th, 2017. A Japanese version was issued on October 4.[5]

The Japanese edition of the soundtrack released on November 11th, 2015 also included liner notes with translation to Japanese and an interview with Jeff Williams.[2] The Japanese release was also made available in the United States for purchase through the Rooster Teeth store.
The following is a list of soundtracks from the animated web series RWBY, created by Monty Oum, which premiered on the Rooster Teeth website on July 18, 2013, and is currently ongoing. The music for RWBY has been composed primarily by Jeff Williams, with additional composition by Steve Goldshein, Mason Lieberman, and Alex Abraham. Williams was a member of the band Trocadero, who created the music for Rooster Teeth's Red vs. Blue, and would independently compose the eighth, ninth, and tenth seasons of the series. Other artists featured in the soundtracks include Williams' daughter, Casey Lee Williams, as well as Lamar Hall, Adrienne Cowan, Dawn M. Bennett, and Caleb Hyles.[1]
RWBY: Volume 1 (Music from the Rooster Teeth Series) was released on November 12, 2013. It includes the songs used in the trailers, the intro to the series' episodes, and also the score music to each episode. The soundtrack also contained previously unreleased songs such as "I May Fall" and "Wings".[2] These songs were, however, briefly played at the end of various episodes.
Volume 1 reached number one on iTunes, beating out the movie soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.[3] The soundtrack reached number 22 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums charts.[4]
RWBY: Volume 8 (Music from the Rooster Teeth Series) was released on December 31, 2021. This was the first soundtrack in which Jeff Williams did not compose the score, creating only the vocal tracks. Instead, Alex Abraham was the lead composer. The album features contributions by Casey Lee Williams' band OK Goodnight. The release of the album was delayed due to the spread of the Delta variant in Texas, as well as a family emergency concerning Williams.[15]
RWBY: Volume 9 Original Soundtrack was released on July 28, 2023. This was the first soundtrack without any input from Jeff Williams; instead, it is mainly composed by Casey Lee Williams and Martin Gonzalez.
Man this database is heaven! All the soundtracks from RWBY are awesome material, it's just amazing. I feel bad for not supporting the producers (RT) though, although I'd very much like to.

Oh, Hi.. you know I'm really a fan of RWBY. not just because my name is just like Rubby Jane but partly yes. But totally this movie, I really like it, no.no.i really love it . I've watch the volumes 1-3 and I'm waiting for volume 4. And by the way i love their team, most of all Ruby Rose. Oh I really really love this. And I also love their soundtracks. yeah thank you

I'm in love with this music because it's just too amazing, and very enlightening with its upbeat battle-esque feeling! Again, thanks to whoever did it, because it is amazing! I'd rank it 10 out of 10. Jeff Williams, Cassie Lee Williams, Lamar Hall, Alex Abraham, and the other notable composers, and artists who worked on this fabulous album, did amazing!
