Maker Tools & Components Donation

I have a large collection of parts, components, and tools which I’d like to see put to good use. I am moving to Calgary and can’t take it with me. I want to give it away to the community here - ideally to be used as shared resources, but it can be claimed by an individual if no one has capacity to act as its steward.

This haul has been built from over a decade of tinkering and prototyping. It includes an Ender 3 clone (plus loads of replacement parts for it), a Dremel kit, 1.75mm filament, a soldering iron, a desktop power supply, some hand tools, many passive electronics components, many dev boards, etc. All items work, just some things are more worn than others.

I live in West Bedford, and will need it gone by end of the day on Tuesday. I do not want to part it out; I need someone to take all of it instead of just a few items.

As mentioned, I’d prefer that this haul becomes a community resource, so reply to this message if you can help facilitate that. If no one takes responsibility for community stewardship by Monday night, then it’s free for an individual to claim.

It’ll likely be 2-3 boxes full plus the 3D printer + enclosure.

Hello, Ben. I'm studying over at Saint Mary's University this year,
and our School of Engineering has recently expanded to host the full
four year degree program on campus. We have some rudimentary printing
services on site, but anything to support our growth and development
would be very welcome.

Our Fall session starts this coming Wednesday. I am available on
Monday, at a time that would work for you.

Hey Ben!

The Halifax Makerspace is getting ready to set up an electronics workspace in a space offered by the Shearwater Air Museum and would greatly appreciate anything electronics related. I think we've got some basic 3d printing and laser options but during our "un-homing" we shed most of the electronics stuff.  I'd be happy to meet up with you this week to see what you have!  Let me know when would work best for you.
