Jamnagar Sindhi Samaj will celebrate Cheti Chand 2011 festival today in Jamnagar, there are many events scheduled for this occasion, a mass thread ceremony will be followed by a religious yatra near Jhulelal temple located near old railway station. Jamnagar Sindhi community will take a day off from their business and work,
Kutchhi Lohana society will celebrate the festival with Dariyalal Jayanti, and traditional aarti celebration is organised at Lohana Samaj Wadi near pancheshwar tower.
