Police in Jamnagar suddenly wake up to discover huge stash of pirated DVD sold at every corner in the city, in past 2 days Jamnagar police recovered pirated copies of copyright material amounting to around a million rupee, police arrested 14 person and raised 14 places in city, most noticeable places includes Lakhota lake, Jayshree cinema, S.T. Road etc.

Last Saturday, vegetable shop owners around the main vegetable market stopped business at the subhash market, causing sharp increase in the vegetable prices. In this tussle of JMC and vegetable businessmen, citizens are paying price (actually high price), earlier last month JMC suggested to move the vegetable market to Hapa marketing yard. Vegetable shop owners are arguing that cost to transportation vegetables to the city from Hapa is unreasonable.
