Stupid question about deleting elections

How can I delete a (test) election that has run and whose results are no longer required.  At every level from election downward I get error messages that: "An election which is in use cannot be deleted" ... "The candidate who already has votes cannot be deleted"  (This is Halalan 1.6.0, logged in as admin)

I need to set a real election but this seems to be blocking me.

Hi. You can empty (truncate) all the tables except the admin table
using phpMyAdmin or the MySQL prompt. If you have other elections,
you can remove the data of the specific election from abstains, votes,
and voted tables. Then, you can use the interface to remove the
blocks, candidates, parties, positions, and finally, elections.

Thank you for bringing up this use case. We haven't thought about
this. We will look into this.
