Hello,

I have installed halalan without problems. In the process of
installation, there is the question about election name. I have the
intention to use halalan multiple times for multiple elections in our
non-profit organization (Society for Open Information Technologies,
Slovakia). Should I install fresh copy of halalan for each such voting
event?

Thanks,
Michal Kaukic

Hello Mikeslov,

You can change the election name at config/halalan.php. It's usually the first config item:
$config['halalan']['name'] = "Election Name";

Then again, once an election has finished the data in the database would already have changed considerably that you won't be able to reuse it. You may probably truncate the data in all of the tables beside admin and options so you may use the same admin login. That's probably the only reusable components there is in the database.

Cheers,

In addition to what Rystraum said, you can also opt to do a fresh
install. Unfortunately, multiple election instances are not possible
at the moment. But they are under development already. It will be
included in the next release.
