Status of the Developers

Hello. Since it's the 7th birthday of UnPLUG, I would like to take
this opportunity to know the status of the Halalan developers.

If you reply to this email, you will still be considered as active and
nothing will change except if you reply that you are no longer
interested to be a developer. If you don't reply after one week, you
will be considered as retired so your name in
http://halalan.uplug.org/about/ will be moved under the Former
Developers list. You will also be removed from
halalan.googlecode.com.

If you're looking for some things to do, just tell me or look at
http://code.google.com/p/halalan/issues/list. Hehe.

Can I assign you to this issue

familiarizing yourself again to how Halalan works could help you in
coding. You could ask Bonyang for help. Hehe.

As a probable farewell message to this list, I would like to suggest that we document in the website what each developer has contributed from initial 0.x version releases to current.  I know that this can be easily known by viewing code commit stats. However, I think it would really make it more inspiring for other developers to contribute something if their specific work is easily seen and recognized even by non-technical people.

P.P.S.

Oh and one last thing...  I can do "easy-install" packaging for the Halalan system if desired.  This packaging system somewhat works like portable web apps.

Yup. That's included. Being a developer doesn't mean that you must
code. There are other ways of contributing. Perhaps, I should create
a wiki on how to contribute.

All issues are listed at http://code.google.com/p/halalan/issues/list.
If an issue has no owner, you can freely adopt it. Otherwise,
contact the assigned owner if there's already progress so duplication
of work can be avoided.
