Hello.

I was reading the Issues page and saw the "Simple Checklist for Voters" thread. I made a sample page on how I think it might look like based on how it was described there.

By doing the "mockup", these were the things that came into my mind:
  • The checklist has to be compact.
  • The ballot plus the checklist should at least fit on a browser on a machine with 1024x768 resolution.
  • The ballot must not be on the center anymore or else the checklist could potentially block some candidates.
I have also read things about eliminating <table>s as much as possible. On my sample page, I have eliminated the use of <table>s. I am also interested in helping code the layout once we settle on a new UI.

PS: It took me thirty minutes to finally click the "Send" button. I'm still not yet comfortable on posting here. I'm shy. Hahaha.

Yes, this is the idea. Another idea is that we can "attached" the
checklist to the side of the browser and it can be opened or closed to
avoid blocking of the ballots. I have seen websites with this
"feature" but I can't remember anything as of the moment. Yet another
idea is to make the checklist a toolbar that can be placed above or
below the ballot page.
