Dear Brothes and Ulemas in Islam,

I would like to suggest a format for Jummah bayan by Ulemas so that those sermons will be worth to our Ummah to fix their problems.

I thought to forward this Jummah Bayan Format, because, as I know, Ulemas dont live in practical world and dont face practical problem living with other societies, and with a very limited knowledge of whats happening around the world and they are fully occupied with solving issues within Islam and also they may have bigger issues to solve than fixing Jummah or Ummah.

Jummah Subject
I know right now ACJU gives some Jummah subject for Ulemas to chose.
I still would like to suggest
- Talks about Allah's creations to strengthen the Eeman and
- Talks about Allah's love, kindness and forgiveness to motivate people to do more and more Amal and get closer to HIM in their personal life.
- Talks about how to fix ego, pride, arrogance, Jealousy, hatred etc
- Talks about how to improve qualities like love, kindness, trustworthiness and faithfulness etc

Jummah Style

Our guider is Rasool(SAW) and Ulemas should follow him while conduct sermons

- with qualities like Smooth, Cool, Calm manner with kindness and love

They also should AVOID qualities like
- rational, emotional Bayan
- harassive, abusive, humiliating bayan

They also should AVOID talking BATHIL KARKOONSARI but ONLY HUk.

A society should be guided by its religious leaders. If the society is full of filth and fails, Its either a problem with their religion or its preachers.

My humble opinion would be to leave the Ulemas to do their job. We should not interfere in their activities. They are responsible to guide us in the religious matters.

I have a lot of respect for Mufti Yousef, Mufti Rizvi, Sheikh Agar and other eminent scholars in Sri Lanka. They have sincerely done a fantastic job for us so far. We have to remember that they are also human beings and they tend to err too.

Given the current context of the circumstances in Sri Lanka they have with their wisdom has protected the Muslim community in Sri Lanka by not indulging in cheap talk with BBS and others.

Mufti Rizvie has dealt with the top brass politicians at the apex level and he knows very well where the politics is going on. So he is well positioned to advise and guide the Muslim Community in Sri Lanka.

What they require is our utmost united support to give them a confidence booster and high morale to serve our community better.

Let us do our job right so that they can guide us in the right direction.

Wasalam,

Thameem Ghouse

Dear Brother Mohamed Ghouse,

I dont think Islam had allowed us to follow "mind our own business" concept, Instead we each and every one in the community has our own duties toward the society within our limit (2:286).

I do not have any issue with any of the Ulemas in ACJU personally and I completely understand they are trying their best to keep our community united and safe.

Please remember, we have some specific issues in our community. And we just cant live blind or hide them from other societies, calling we all cool. Soon or later, it can blast in high scale. There are also guarantee of clashes during each ramazan where we going to here them louder on TV. All my writings are against those who create issues among our communities and nothing else.

It was from last friday (10 days back) I started writing emails to awake the sense of our community about this particular subject. And I had wrote some stones, 23 on one email and 14 on another email with that same neeyah. Please let me know if you feel any of my writing is wrong. I also couldnt able find another way, after all a more than 3 years of trying my best to solve the issue withing a close circle.

Almighty knows the neeyah behind every action.

Wassalam
