It is amazing the scenario that had been unfolding ever since the President declared an election to extend the term of his presidency.
He was advised by the astrologers. It would be interesting to find out what happened to the said astrologers. Did the President set his goons on him or waiting hoping it still might work out?
For us Muslims this is the realization of the Quranic verse
وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
(Wa Makaroo, makarallahu, wallahu khairul makireen)
“And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.”
When this government wanted to make the Muslim community the bogey man in order to win Buddhist votes, they did so, every time, unwittingly, when the Muslims were at the peak of their piety.
The grease man saga happened in July – august 2011 the Muslims were fasting. The Ramadhan is a time the whole community fasts and prays more than usual. Their prayers did not go unanswered by Allah.
Then the BBS started their terrorist tactics, and every time they hurt the Muslims, it happened to be during or around the peaks of some special worshiping time – like Ramadhan, Ashura, haj etc.. Aluthgama incidence was a horrible, planned attack on Muslims at a time we were fasting and praying. They attacked matters close to the heart of the Muslims such as the Quran, mosques, halal food and hijab. They expected us to break down and rebel so that they can massacre us, but all it did was to make all the divided Muslims groups to forget the differences and to bring together and made us put our hands together in heart felt prayers and supplications. Typically what all the Muslims turned in sincere prayers to Allah for justice.
What had been happening of late shows that Allah is indeed Great and is indeed the best of the planners; and that man can never plan as accurately and expertly as much as or even anywhere near to Allah. Allah made all these extra ordinary unexpected things to happen in such a short time in such succession that it is almost mind boggling.
Whatever made the President to decide to have an election two years prior to completion of his term? Whatever made all the government politicians to decide enough is enough? Whatever made, of all the people, for Mr. Sirisena, an excellent unique choice, to become the common candidate? Whatever made all parties to come together for a common purpose? Whatever made the government ministers to make such horrendous mistakes in their utterances, that they became the laughing stock of common man? Whatever made the government to accept the support of BBS in spite of clear signs of the Muslims deserting and the damage they were causing?
It is All nothing but Allah’s plans.
We Muslims know nothing happens without the will of Allah. There is no such thing as co-incidence according to Islam. Everything is planned and executed by Allah for a purpose. He answered our prayers. We Muslims must appreciate this fact very clearly and on one hand be thankful to Allah and on the other, be even more pious, repenting for our sins and asking for His protection.
May Allah bless the Muslims of Srilanka. May Allah make this island once again a just peaceful friendly country for every citizen irrespective of cast, creed or religion.
Lets’ remember that Allah gives us the Leader we deserve. Let us live a life worthy of a just, kind and efficient Head of state.
