Future generation of UAE’s Civil Engineers to attend Middle East’s leading event on Geosynthetics
With less than 2 weeks to go and a sold out technical exhibition the GeoME 2012 is shaping up to turn Abu Dhabi once again into an excellent meeting place for geotechnical and environmental specialists to exchange knowledge, conduct business and build strategic partnerships.
For the first time civil engineering students of the events Academic Partner, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), will have the opportunity to attend this prime event and directly network with international experts in the field of geosynthetics. Reda Ashkar, Conference Chairman of the GeoME 2012 said: “The successful performance of Geosynthetic materials heavily depends on the expertise of the design engineer and the installer on site. By inviting students from UAE Universities we would like to ensure, that the future generation of engineers in the Middle East has the opportunity to discuss geotechnical matters directly with the leading industry experts from around the globe and understand the importance of sustainable engineering in infrastructure projects".
