Dear participants of this group.
Greiner Housing Solutions (GHS) has established social housing
solutions specifically in Latin America very successfully. Production
plants are operating in Venezuela and Brazil and one additional plant
is currently established in Cuba.
The GHS house represents a real quality permanent solution with an
expected lifespan of more than 25 years due to the quality of used
materials.
The construction will assist in the clearing of rubble by using
crushed construction waste as inlay material for the construction
profiles. The house components can be recycled and will therefore not
represent a problem when other construction solutions will be applied
in the years to come.
Compared to other designs the GHS house provides a quality perspective
for the next generations in Haiti.
We at GHS want to provide this quality and this experience to the
people of Haiti.
For more than 30 years Greiner Extrusion has been active in
manufacturing tool components and machinery for synthetic extrusion on
an advanced industry level and has developed into the world market
leader in this field.
Current capacities include manufacturing and processing plants in
Austria, China and Czech Republic and representations worldwide.
Greiner Housing Solutions has supplied and furbished partner plants
for housing production lines in Brasil, Cuba and Venezuela with
machinery and tools for independent production of PVC shell based
social housing solutions with specific adaptations to the local
requirements and markets.
Current project development of Greiner Housing Solutions involves
among other countries Algeria, Angola, Iran, and Kosovo.
Greiner Housing Solutions (hereinafter GHS) has thereby built up a
worldwide reputation for successful plant engineering and production
establishment for low cost and social housing solutions involving
innovative and flexible technologies.
Our company name is a global synonym for the extrusion of plastic
window profiles and has further established a reputation for
developing integrated and sustainable housing solutions that can be
adapted to the specific cultural, social and technical needs of the
customers.
Technical housing description:
Synthetic profile shell walls form both the inner and outer facade of
a GHS house. They do not require extra painting or plastering and
provide a smooth, hygienic surface for simple cleaning.
These PVC shells furnish the core made out of concrete or other
material such as sand or crushed rubble or construction waste mixed
with small quantities of concrete ensuring lasting protection against
moisture. Therefore bacteria and fungus cannot multiply and settle.
The synthetic material employed is UV-resistant, guarantees long-term
aesthetic quality and is already in million-fold use for doors and
windows worldwide.
Future adaptations to the walls and to the house as such can be made
with common construction materials.
Unequalled know-how in this field:
GHS employs the most modern PVC-concrete wall system on the market,
which comes with unique plug-in connectors for simple, fast and safe
house assembly.
The PVC wall shells can be filled with crushed debris and concrete.
The structures can also be easily disassembled and all the materials
used are fully recyclable.
GHS links the world’s best technology partners to form one-stop
shopping supply and undertakes complete project responsibility. 100%
national value added:
The PVC profile houses from GHS are the only housing solution to be
entirely produced by local firms with regional personnel with guidance
and advice from GHS. This means that GHS supplies the complete
technology and services for the houses, ensures know-how transfer, but
does not operate the production plant.
Technical Construction Details:
• Electrical ducts and piping can be inserted in the wall profile
within any required position.
• Connecting profiles link all the individual profiles to form a wall
by means of simple insertion.
• Base profiles are linked to the foundations and receive and fixate
the wall profiles in the correct position.
• Roofing profiles can be used according to the local needs and
construction safety requirements.
• Multifunctional joins inner and outer walls and permits L-, T- and
cross connections.
• Covers are applied for optical facings to cover joints.
• The PVC wall profile ensures smooth, sealed, hygienic, maintenance-
free and UV-stable surfaces in the interior and on the exterior.
• The modular construction system allows for every type of division
and size of building.
