Dear Ivan,
Friday is World Toilet Day. In our lives, and in so many places around the world, sanitation is a little talked about topic. Taboo for many. With 2.6 billion people lacking access to a toilet, it's a subject that needs to be talked about—immediately.
So, welcome to our email all about toilets!
TOILET TECHNOLOGIES
Often, we're asked what's the difference between a VIP (ventilated improved pit latrine) and an improved pit latrine? What's the actual technology that supports Ecological Sanitation? Good questions, and so we're introducing short videos on different types of toilets.
TOILET VIDEO COMPETITION
We're running a "Support the Movement" Video Competition and we would love for you to enter your videos as well. We're giving away three prizes of $500 each. Entries are due Dec. 2. But the sooner you send them, the sooner people can "like" them and try to sway the judges!SEND E-CARDS FOR WORLD TOILET DAY
We've turned some of the videos we've received so far into Video E-cards for World Toilet Day. Plus there are a few illustrative e-cards available as well to send out to your friends, family and colleagues. So check out the competition, share a couple videos, and help us break the taboo by Supporting a Movement. Send E-cards
