HOM Spring 2012 Newsletter

Attached is the newest HOM newsletter.  If you are good with receiving it only via email and do not wish to have a hard copy sent, please reply to me and tell me that.  The newsletter is at the printer’s now and we are in the process of reviewing each address to consolidate multiples at the same address to a single copy (“householding”). If you have received this email more than once it is because I have sent it out to a couple of our email lists.

 

Another admin item:  about a year ago Ruby Butler retired from being HOM’s financial secretary and Vince Tanner took over that task.  Ruby continues to receive checks at her address.  If you are one of those sending to Ruby rather than Vince, please update your records and shift over to Vince.  His address:  12364 New Market Mill Rd., Beaverdam, VA  23015.

 

As well, when you send a check please note in the memo line of the check (or put a note in the envelope with it) what the check is for.   Some of them – for example, from churches with planned allocations, we can fill in.  When we receive donations we have no advice about the default location is to the general fund.

One way to check and see if we have had problems in where to place your donation is to review the receipts we have sent you – each one details exactly where the donation went.
