After the force resignation of Dr. Garry Conille, following his investigation into allegations of corruption and bribes for over $300 million dollars of illicit contracts awarded to Dominican companies by formal PM Jean Max Bellerive to the benefit of the current government.
The President of Haiti, Michel Martelly has officially designated Laurent Salvador Lamothe as Prime minister pending the vote of ratification in the house of deputies and the senate.
Laurent Lamothe is Martelly's actual minister of foreign affairs and private adviser. He is also a close personal friend of the President and a former business associate through his company Global Voice for which Martelly alias "Sweet Micky" had been a spokesman.
It is well know that Laurent was the financial backer behind Martelly's campaign and has quickly become the strongman of the actual government
Who is Laurent Lamothe ?
Laurent Lamothe is a former tennis pro, graduated in Political Sciences at Barry University in Miami. He is a handsome man in his early forties, with a charming smile. His presentation is impeccable, always wearing a well-tailored but quiet blue business suit with a pink neck tie, the color symbolizing President Martelly's campaign.
Known for his playboy lifestyle, he is accustomed to traveling in private jets and helicopters. He is followed by an impressive motorcade of new armored Toyota 4X4 Land-cruisers a float said to be larger than that of the President himself!
Laurent understands and manages the power of the press. An army of local journalists publish his every move. His team is quick to remove any negative press release and have issued several rigged polls in reputable local news media such as “Haiti Libre” to benefit him.
Why does his designation represent a new threat for Haiti?
An article published in a Senegal news media by “Cheik Yerim Seick” describes Mr. Lamothe as a predator who specializes in corrupting leaders of banana republic to plunder their thin resources.
Haiti is on target to become his greatest swindle ever and the president of Haiti a puppet whom he plans to destabilize once his goals are achieved.

Laurent, through his telecommunication company, Global Voice, assisted several dictators in Africa in defrauding their country by adding a surplus on international calls. He has contributed in implementing a similar tax on incoming international calls to Haiti. The moneys collected through this fund should help the free education program, an election promise made by President Martelly.

The tax is illegal since it has neither been voted nor approved by congress. The New York Times reported that Denis O'Brien the CEO of Digicel, one of the major cellular service providers in Haiti has announced an audit for the apparent misplacement of more than US$26 million dollars that have been deposited into this education fund.

Off course, this is petty cash for Laurent Lamothe who is one of the wealthiest men in Haiti, even though Laurent does not at first look meet the prerequisites to become Prime Minister of Haiti.
There is an investigation by a special comity of Parliament into his citizenship and Laurent and hence it’s cleared that he is not resided in Haiti for the past five years, a condition essential by law to occupy the functions of Prime Minister.

Laurent should have no problem buying the votes needed to secure his nomination.

In Haiti one third of Parliament will be up for reelection within a few months. In this country, politics is a career that leads to a dead end. Several senators and deputy are willing to sell their votes to the highest bidder.

Laurent has already secured the votes of several influential senators such as Lambert, Youri Latortue, Kelly Bastien.

Laurent promises that once nominated he will ask the President to publish the amended constitution which would make the Prime Minister the new head of state if the actual President was incapacitated or destituted.

Rumors are that Laurent holds evidence to President Martelly's double citizenship and that once revealed would condemn the President to resign under current law in Haiti. Therefore raising Laurent to President of Haiti under the amended constitution.

The threat of having a con artist at the head of the country is by far a greater threat to Haiti than the earthquake of January 2010.

Je ne défends pas Laurent Lamothe parce qu’il a été mon condisciple à Saint Louis de Gonzague (On avait Mme Paillere comme professeur, et frère André, frère Léon comme titulaires) non plus parceque j’avais appris la langue espagnole à l’école de son feu père Louis Lamothe (Ref : Mme Guichard, Mme Augustin étaient mes professeurs en 1ere et 2eme année et son père Louis Lamothe mon professeur en dernière année en littérature espagnole) . Mais ,en tant alter ego de tous ceux qui travaillent inlassablement ,sans relâche pour le bien être du peuple, je tiens à dire ce qui suit :Les aigris, les jaloux, les envieux, les cyber zombis comme Yvon Surpris  (Par coïncidence il y a 2 Yvon Surpris : Le cyber zombi ,ennemi de la nation haïtienne et un autre Yvon Surpris du nom complet de Yvon Joseph Surpris que j’avais confondu une fois avec ce délinquant ,ce voyou, ce malandrin, cet oisif et consorts ,remplis d’aigreurs utilisent les forums pour attaquer à la réputation de Laurent Lamothe et désapprouver les exploits remarquables ,la performance ,les actions exceptionnelles de l’efficacité de sa compagnie GLOBAL VOICE. Je tiens à dire à ces aigris et consorts que Laurent Lamothe et nous les haïtiens qui travaillent d’arrache pieds et mains pour le développement ,pour le plus ample progrès du pays ,sommes inflexibles mentalement , moralement . Dites ce que vous voulez ,vous n’arriverez jamais à nous secouer psychologiquement. Quand vous perdez vos temps à radoter vos sottises .vos mensonges de toute sorte sur le Net, sur les forums, sur les foras, vous ne faites que perdre vos temps et énergie. Vous feriez mieux de prendre un balaie pour balayer les rues de Port-au-Prince et celles des villes de province. Ainsi je dirai que vous commencerez à faire un minimum pour le pays. Mais ,si vous pensez pouvoir capable de nous influencer, vous perdez vos temps .Car si vous êtes dans un état de déliquescence économique du à vos paresses et à vos pertes de temps de nous dénigrer, nous  les invulnérables qui travaillons sans relâche pour le progrès du pays, nous ne sommes pas responsable de votre déliquescence ,de votre misère économique car VOUS ETES UN CHIEN QUI ABOIE PENDANT QUE LA CARAVANNE DU PROGRES DE LAURENT LAMOTHE PASSE ..
