Invitation to meet with Senator Coons

Hi all HFI supporters!
We would like to invite you to a short meeting with Senator Coons on Monday, June 27th at 10:30 AM in his Wilmington office. Bridget Kelly and I plan to ask him for continuing support for the Global Food Security Act which will empower and invest in poor woman and small-scale food producers in low income countries around the world. We will also reintroduce him to HFI and talk about the poverty and hunger that we’ve all seen with our own eyes. Globally, poor nutrition causes almost 1/2 of deaths in children under 5 and 1 in 9 people are chronically hungry. Please come to support this bill which is very close to being signed into law. It won’t take much of your time and will help women and children have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food. Please email me at the address below if you are interested in coming and we will make plans where to meet.
