OKAY. So. The multi-city 'pinup! The 'pincushion if you will!! (I
believe coining of this phrase goes to Faintly Macabre). We are going
to make this happen because how much fun would that be, so much fun!!!

The quick and dirty details: Chicago. June 2013 (or perhaps August
2013). As many of you as we can possibly muster.

My sssshedule is more constrained than some of yours will be (mom duties and whatall), but in principle I am TOTALLY down with PinCon in 2013.  I'd be driving from Detroit, so If the optimal weekend is selected, I could perhaps do an overnight on Saturday.  I'll also be sure to share this (and any meet-up that actually gets scheduled) on the Detroit Hairpinistas Facebook page.

As far as availability goes (and I am going to be entirely selfish at this point) I know that I will be in the town of Chi from on the weekend of June 29th for the national convention of the American Library Association. So that weekend would be fantastic for me, other librarian Pinners, and for the group in general if they want come to the city as it is over-run with librarians. We could play Spot the Tote Bag. However, I will try to come regardless of weekend because this is just the awesomest.

Chicagoan here, should still be here in June 2013, could host a 'Pinner in my apartment (I have a fold-out couch).  Must love dogs, I have two non-shedding little girls.

I haven't read through the whole thread but I still have not gone up Willis Tower or done the Chicago Architectural Tour, so I'd be up for that.
