I just moved to VA from OH last month and am still looking for a job,
so my schedule is super open at the moment. Also, just moved, so I
don't know anything about the area. I'll meet up wherever, it just
sounds like fun. Would be nice to meet fellow 'pinners. :)

I would love to meet more awesome hairpinners BUT I'm still in college
and can't really go to bars, which I think is where most of these meet-
ups happen. If there's a place that would let me in, though, I'd
definitely love to go.

I'm sure we could meet up somewhere other than a bar (restaurant/
somewhere cool that is not a bar, maybe?)! Thoughts, Jacqui?

Hey! I'm in Richmond and I'm down for meeting up. Dinner or whenever
works for me. I've lived here my whole life but I'm still pretty
clueless as to where the cool kids go.

I, as previously stated, am free whenever! So that's one less schedule
to work around.

Maybe after Thanksgiving? The first weekend in December? I'm also free
anytime except Thursdays nights.

I can't do Monday or Tuesday nights, but any other time will work for
me!

Ok what about either 11/30 or 12/3? I'm not set on either of those
dates, just trying to keep the ball rolling.

I'm in the VCU area, so I'm close to Ipanema, Strange Matter, Black
Sheep, etc. Totally open to other suggestions though!

I don't eat out much so I have no idea what's good. Where has Daniel
Day Lewis been spotted? Let's go there. j/k But seriously, maybe a
place with decent parking.

Decent parking, yes please! Finding my way to wherever we meet from
Norfolk will be fun enough without having to deal with finding
parking. LOL

According to their menu, Balliceaux seems to specialize in fancy meat
and cheese dishes. No word on the parking situation. How do we feel
about that? Is anyone looking to try anything in particular? Any
cravings?

I was mostly kidding about Balliceaux, although I'm happy to go there
if the rest of you want to. It's in the Fan so I think parking might
be kind of tricky. Jacqui suggested Carytown a while back, which might
be a good area to meet up in because it has a lot of public parking
and a pretty wide variety of restaurants.

Haha of course! Me too... Yes, something in Carytown might be better.
I was trying to keep it on the dl, but I'm just going to come out and
say that I'm a vegetarian. I hate to be the picky one, but really
anywhere is fine as long as I'm not paying $15 for a salad.

What about the New York Deli? There's also a few Thai/Indian places
that have vegetarian options, or Mary Angela's for pizza.

I could go for Indian or Italian. And the more I think about it Indian
is my first choice. Anyone else?

I've never tried Indian, but I've always wanted to! Sounds good to me
as well.

OK. Well there is Farouk's. I've never been there, but the menu looks
delicious and relatively cheapish. Any other recs?

I think I've been to Farouk's a while ago, and I remember it being
good. What time should we plan on meeting up?

7 is fine by me. I can definitely do earlier if that's too late for
other people though.

I vote for loiter, I hate trying to find people once they're inside.
I'll probably be there early, because I'm driving in from Norfolk and
I'd rather be early than late. So if you see a lime green Ford Fiesta,

Well, I've come down with a cold and the dizziness isn't exactly

I have some good ideas for under-20 and over-20 meeting spots (I'm
26). Are people available the week of March 5th or March 12th?
