Hey Cyclists, I would like to get a name for our group before May (bike Month), and the highway trash cleanup. I'm voting for "Haines Bikes" (thanks Darsie). It's simple, it's clear, and it's all inclusive. Love it.
Please put in your 2 cents, as we're stalled out with this. If I don't get any responses, I think those that showed at the last meeting will arbitrarily decide and it's going to be a done deal (vote by email... please reply to me or reply all). Thanks everyone.
Oh, and our next meeting will be May 11. Mark your calendars. See you out there. Noble

"Haines Bikes"
It's both a noun and a verb, what could be better than that.

Greetings all: Please come to the Assembly meeting on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 pm, if at all possible. There will be a proclamation read aloud establishing the month of May as Bicycle Month in Haines. It's a start.
Please come and show your support. The turnout could make a big difference in the months and years to come. It would be nice to have a room full of people
supporting something positive! The other good news is that the reading of the proclamation should be during early part of the meeting. Thanks! Mark P.S. Disclosure alert: I am sending this announcement to the group as a private citizen, and not in my official capacity as a municipal official.
