Update on Chilkat River/Road Love Day:

It sounds like there are bikers among us who will show up on Saturday May 7th for the Chilkat River Trash Clean-up.

I talked briefly with Brad Ryan from the Takshanuk Watershed Council and he is totally fine with the money the bikers raise from the bags going to the Haines Well and Fit Nonprofit. TWC will be taking a tally of all the garbage to send back to an international coastal data base that shows where garbage ends up on the coast lines.

I will be meeting with Julia who is organizing the event for TWC tomorrow. To get more specific information. After I will send out a time and place those who want to participate can meet on Saturday morning.

If anybody wants to help me out on the morning of to make sure we have the bags needed and explain the process to the people who show up I would really appreciate it. Also, if somebody wouldn't mind handling the communication with Haines Well and Fit that would be great.

I think we should all wear tie-dye.

And, I like the name- let me know if we are going with it so I can let Julia now.
