Hello, all. Thanks for getting this started. We'll need to get he
word out.

Mission statement idea expanding from below:
To promote all forms of cycling safety, accessibility and
infrastructure and work in cooperation with the community to benefit
the overall health and wellbeing of the Valley's residents.

Any other thoughts?

Sounds Great!

The Mountain Biker goals and objectives may inform the overall mission a little;

Goal:

Develop and maintain a network of singletrack trails in Haines.

Objective 1:Identify existing Community Gateway Trails

Objective 2: Carry out improvements to the existing trails making them ridable.

Objective 3:Determine linkages to existing trails to lengthen singletrack and research ownership and permissions to construct new trails extending the Community Gateway trails.

Objective 4: Identify opportunities for new trail development. Review property ownership and permissions for ROW to determine viability. Design multi-use trail according to IMBA Trail Solutions guidelines. Prepare funding requests for new trails through grants, appropriations and HB 57 if passed.
