As you know, lol just created a mobile game called: lol wild rift which is aiming for the ios and android. Me as a dota 2 player i fall in love with this game especially when i am at work and i have nothing to do, millions of people have an ios or android devices, so this is very big market for dota to be in it. Is there any chance for dota 2 to be mobile?
Dota Auto Chess launched as a Dota 2 arcade game on January 4th and became an immediate success. It features innovative and addictive gameplay. ImbaTV joined forces with Drodo Studio to create a mobile version of the game, it will be used for a competitive league.
Developer Drodo Studios has just announced that they will release a mobile port of the game with the DOTA 2 branding removed since the new version has nothing to do with Valve. The mobile version will have completely new characters developed solely for this version of the game. There will also be a $1.5 million esports league sponsored by publisher Dragonest, giving players all around the world a chance to compete.
Players who want to try the game can sign-up for an account on the Auto Chess website. The game will be available on both iOS and Android, so everyone with a phone can try out this popular fad. The website is entirely in Chinese, but it asks for your name, email address, password and to complete a Captcha code. Once you have your account created, you will receive an email when the mobile version is ready to go live.
Brawls Stars is the latest game from mobile developers Supercell, best know for their previous games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. When Clash Royale first came out I played it for weeks. But it quickly became more of a grind then a game. So I was very hesitant to try out Brawl Stars. Luckily, Supercell has made Brawl Stars significantly less grind heavy than their other games.
Brawl Stars controls well and feels perfectly built for mobile devices. Holding the device sideways, you move using a virtual left stick and aim using virtual right stick. But I rarely ever aim. Instead players can just tap the right side of the screen and auto attack the closet enemy. This is perfect when you are being chased and need to shoot behind you.
AutoChess MOBA is a new mobile game that just soft-launched on December 1. Developed by Dragon Nest, AutoChess is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, based on the popular Dota Auto Chess mod.
Developer Drodo Studio is bringing its project to mobile, but in doing so, seems to have dropped Dota from its marketing. A mobile app for Android and iOS is currently available for pre-reservation in China via zizouqi.com, but makes no mention of the game that spawned the extremely popular mod.
While the release is limited to mobile for now, it has potentially wider-reaching consequences. Drodo has previously said that it has no plans for a standalone PC release, despite interest from major publishers, but this new project could be an early step in that direction.
