Haiku masters,
One of my users got this error today.

Verification failed: Server https://www.google.com/a/sehs.net/o8/ud?be=o8 responds that the 'check_authentication' call is not valid

Anybody know what this means? I have not changed any of his google settings for single sign-on to haiku.

Best regards,

Hi Brian,

Thank you for being in touch about this! Over the weekend we identified an issue with Haiku Learning authentication via the Google Apps "more" menu that has been resulting in this error message for users.

What we identified is Google Apps in some cases displaying multiple Haiku Learning applications for users. One of these apps, the one with the Haiku Learning icon, results in this verification error. Using the other menu item with the generic Google icon, should allow users to sign in to Haiku via the Google Apps menu (please see attached screenshot).

All users should also be able to sign in to Haiku via their Google Apps accounts by visiting your domain's login page directly and using the Sign in with Google link there. Hopefully these steps can allow users to access Haiku for now.

This appears to be an issue with the Google Apps menu. We have a ticket in with Google and our Product team has been in conversation with them about this. We will be in touch here with any further updates on that resolution. Please let us know if your experience is different than this (either you don't see two apps, or you are having login issues from another path) or if you have any other questions.

Best,
Jbid

we have been receiving that same error this morning while trying to login to the Haiku ipad app.  I've opened a support ticket on the issue.

problem is intermittent.  Seems to work a low percentage of the time.
