Welcome to Haiku! When using wikiprojects, a lot depends on your goal. Wikiprojects can be set up as one project for a class, section, group, or individual with varying levels of privacy and accessibility on each. Since you've said that you want students to work individually, I'd suggest setting up an individual project. Each student will be able to log in individually and control her own notes and you'll be able to see who's spilling along well in class. As an option, you can allow the rest of the class to view other students' notes.
Hi all, I have been a member of the group for ages, but I figured that I should join with my married name. So Heather Mannella is now Heather Nuzzo. =)

Hi there,I am Jason McDonald, the Haiku administrator for Grace Church School's new high school in Cooper Square, Manhattan. GCS is expanding after over a hundred years as a K-8. We started with 59 students for 2012-2013, and will add a grade each year until 2015-2016 when we reach capacity.I am learning Haiku as we go. Lots of questions. Wish someone shared this Google GRoup with me sooner!ThanksJason

Hi everyone,My name is Leo LaBrie and I teach in Richmond, Illinois. I was able to pilot Haiku last spring for my school and now we are implementing it for all teachers. I really like this LMS and it's also the topic of my action research paper for my type 75 certification. I teach French and Psychology and we are going to be doing some teacher training this week on building a Haiku. I'm very confident in the social science and the foreign language applications for Haiku but not so much in our other areas. I was wondering if anyone out there would mind sharing their class with me so I can show our teachers what some other sites look like for other subjects. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here are the links to my sites: AP Psychology, French 2, & Psychology Here are the departments that we are training this week:EnglishScienceSpecial EducationHealth & P.E.Consumer & Tech Ed.MathFine ArtsForeign languageSocial Studies
Haiku really ROCKSAn Awesome tool for learningLOVE the Haiku team!

Hello everybody! Looks like we are bringing this thread back! My name is Nick. I am the LMS Administrator and Instructional Designer for a collaborative of Montessori teacher educator programs (TEP). My home program is Seton Montessori Institute. One of our collaborative partners is in Chicago while the other is in New York. I live right outside of Boston. We just entered our second year with Haiku and things are going well. We talked about it the other week that anything that could have been considered an “issue” was not something critical, particularly how fast things get solved. It is a stark contrast to using Bb 9.1 for my other job. I am also a Senior Lecturer at Lesley University where I teach face to face, but also hybrid and online. For Lesley I also develop the online psychology courses.
