Failed to identify species for gene families

I have a data set that runs in CAFE 2 but when I run the exact same data set and cafe script, I get an error, "Failed to identify species for gene families"  I'm using the latest version from github which I compiled and run on mac os.  I ran the example data set and it runs fine.  I compared my script/data to the examples and I don't see any differences that would account for the error. I've attached my data files in case anyone could have a look and see whats wrong.

Just solved my own problem again.  the file with the family data must have a .tab extension.
