List sabotage

You folks may be wondering why this mailing list is so small. There
have been a couple of attempts to promote this list by posting a flyer
in the mailroom. However, it's clear that someone is trying to
sabotage our group. I find it hard to believe that anyone would do
such a thing, and attempt to stop people from communicating.

There have been a couple incidents of removal of the flyer very
shortly after posting it. This removal is a violation of the mailroom
rules, but since there's no practical way to enforce the rules, we're
left with these anonymous hit and run attempts to defeat our group.

Anyway, please feel free to mention this list to your neighbors.
If someone wants an invitation to the list, feel free to give them the
address: jgo...@Hide-A-WayHillsClub.com and I will make sure they get
one.

If anyone has any clever ideas to increase membership, please share
it!

Hmmmmm.

Sorry about your difficulties getting this list off the ground, but I'm
not surprised. Several years ago, I had started a Yahoo group where
there was an event calendar along with update emails of events in HAH.
I sought board approval, so that I would not be stepping on any toes,
but it still sent up red flags. The board at that time wanted to be
crystal clear that there would be no discussion and only events that
had been approved by the board would be distributed. Sure, I didn't
'have" to do it their way, but I did. After about a year and half my
business took more time and most members where well aware of events,
that I closed the list down.

I would be happy to send an email to my contact lists and promote your
list on my web. There are numerous members along with clients seeking
real estate information on those lists and who watch the web site.
Many of those people would probably love an opportunity to ask others
questions about life in HAH and hear input from others than just me.
Let me know what you think.

In closing, I am in no way suggesting a current board member would
remove your flyers.
