Dear all.



MyGOSSON 2011 is back!! This year, it is combined with CIO Conference 2011, so that your message goes directly to the CIOs besides CEOs, CTOs, industry leaders, academicians,  and government officials.


  
Initiated in 2007, MyGOSSCON continues to attract global interest and is recognised as one of the leading regional open source communities event. 
The two day event is packed with opportunities for knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas on OSS global trends, best practices and technology trends  Fueled by its theme of New Economy of ICT and Open Technologies Empower Digital Transformation Through Sustained Creativity and Innovation, this event promises to deliver the insight of how the new economy is being driven by technological advances such as open source to help the digital transformation as evident in the Malaysian public sector landscape. This includes updates of latest ICT programs under the National Key Economic Areas (NKEA) and Government Transformation Program (GTP). The conference will be officiated by YBhg. Dato' Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim, Minister of Information, Communication and Culture.



In conjunction with the conference, International OSS Creative Multimedia Competition with total cash prizes of RM50, 000 is held. It is open to all students above age 18 from higher learning institutes. OSS Exhibition will also held.
